About us
VG Notarissen is a full service office with a broad focus on corporate law and real estate law. We have built up extensive experience in both national and international legal issues. The service of our office is aimed at helping the client move forward; usually the client wants his issue answered and the legal technical aspects of his issue are less important to him. We will map out the route to the correct answer to the issue. The existing frameworks will often provide a solution, where necessary we will create new frameworks.

The website of the central government states that the notary may use regular opening hours. Furthermore, everyone must keep a 1,5 meters distance from each other and is asked to do a self-test when visiting other people. Working from home as much as possible is now a rule instead of an advice
UBO register not deactivated
The Court of Appeal in The Hague court has rejected a request to suspend the Dutch legislation for registration of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs). The Privacy First Foundation had demanded this in an appeal. The foundation wanted to suspend the UBO legislation by means of summary proceedings because, in its opinion, it violates fundamental rights, EU basic principles and privacy rules. The preliminary relief judge previously rejected this claim and the Court of Appeal now confirms that decision.
Minister Ollongren will make the purchasing process more transparent
A more transparent buying process with equal opportunities for buyers. This is what Minister Kajsa Ollongren of the Interior and Kingdom Relations wants. She wrote this in a letter to the House of Representatives. In addition to several other organizations, the KNB is discussing this subject with the ministry and is making a contribution where possible. Among other things, the minister wants to work with a bidding log so that sellers and prospective buyers can monitor the bidding process.Ollongren informs the House (pdf) that about 80 brokers are already participating in a pilot of a digital bidding log. She encourages this and she wants all brokers to work with a digital bidding log in due course.
